, hand held.

Beautiful image of snow melting in the sea. A moment certainly unusual and I think you managed to catch well. The dark colors of the sky and the sea that contrast with the brightness of the lighthouse are pleasant. The composition is simple and successful. The only thing that bothers me a little is clear that aura present in the top of the sky. I guess it's a snowflake that fell in front of the camera.
The pictures I like a lot already but I think if there was also a human presence (eg a man next to the lighthouse watching the sea), the shot would have gained even more. It would transmit a sense of loneliness classic but for me always appreciated.

Comment a landscape photograph for me is always difficult because it is a genre that is not practical, however I consider it a good photo. Me too disturbs the halo on top, I cloned. Surely you wanted to give strength to the picture by pulling on the contrary, the result is pleasant even if the color of the water has become unnatural. Very successful in my opinion the composition of the picture.

This picture I really like the composition, location and time again (snow fall). A little 'less than the blue of the sky that I find unnatural.

Hello Nicholas, we come to the comment of your first photo. I'm not a landscaper please do not take myself too seriously ;-)
The composition in successive layers does not convince me, it creates a discontinuity that I can not appreciate, so I tried to start from the rock as a base and leave more space to the sky. The light on the lighthouse and rocks is too contrasting with the surrounding environment. I think it is very difficult to photograph the snow as you have tried to do above all because there is no snow laid to strengthen the bows that can be seen. A greeting ;-)

Great Nicholas, congratulations for being able to pull off something new each time whether this lighthouse

I refer not only to the snow, which already makes this different from all the other photos, but also for color management and for the atmosphere that you did it transmit the photo. I look at this lighthouse between your shots (both from different pdr that the same) and never see the same picture. compliments

Also this naturally beautiful, although not my favorite (not for beauty photo shoot conditions: D).

Hello!

I know your image and the quality that you know pull out of certain photographs.
This is no exception.
The land has a light not too appealing, but being nocturnal is not that I could place a set with the -D spotlight
The snow at the beginning I was blown away, I thought the stars seen in the sky, then I noticed that he was also present in the bottom of the sea and I realized to be snowflakes.
Obviously the purpose of the picture is in fact represent a landscape unusual compared to the norm, we are in Sicily right? Unfortunately for me this message does not come immediately because it is not the place, the few details I can not suggest this oddity. And Whitening beaches lately if they see many around Italy.
One detail that I would like to tell me: how many were iso? The Rmood in the sky is really excessive, but much.

It is a beautiful shot that captures a rare moment. very good and pleasant composition as well as the dyes.
I do not hide that I would be intrigued to see her even in b / n ... :-D
I find it all balanced and pleasant. My compliments

It has a fantasy twist, the lighthouse so enlightened that contrasts with the sky is beautiful and gives me the picture almost fantasy world.
There's special atmosphere and I like, well crafted aesthetic / graphic level, by a sense of calm and tranquility, as if you were in the dream with a sky that looks almost overnight and well lighted beacon

In addition to the composition that I really like, I particularly enjoyed the snowflakes around the frame. Initially I was blown away ... I thought it was the usual starry sky but find that instead it was a snowfall on the sea was a very pleasant surprise! I like the colors and vignetting that makes it very dreamy shot.
Maybe I just lowered a thread saturation of the lighthouse / rock, but just to give it a try ...

Hello, Nicholas! I understand your state of mind nell'approcciarti similar wonders that Mother Nature gives us, as even I few days ago I got to do unusual shots because of the presence of the snow where there is usually no. (Here is the shot of which I speak, if you like play www.juzaphoto.com/galleria.php?t=2162578&l=it ).
As for the picture itself, I like, although not find it (personal opinion) to your usual level, but I guess it was not easy to shoot in those conditions.
I should go to Thursday lighthouse and the forecasts seem to bring an interesting sky ;-)
Best wishes.

Raffaele

Hello Nicholas,
I love landscapes and I must say that I am almost ashamed to criticize this beautiful,
given that the result we have achieved is far above of what I can do myself!
I would try to darken the color of the light, to make it consistent with the mood of the sky and sea and would remove a few flakes that looks more like a halo!

Ciao a tutti :-)

In parte Filiberto.

Siamo in pieno pomeriggio ;-D

" ...siamo in Sicilia vero?"

Certo.

I really like, beautiful color management, I might have left more sky and removed the part of the sea below, although definitely out of balance to the picture so well.
