#Wild #Arachnida Opilionidi I falsi ragni dalle gambe lunghe Gli opilionidi, vengono spesso scambiati per ragni, sono invece aracnidi appartenenti all'ordine degli Opilioni o Opilionidi. Questi animali si distinguono facilmente dai ragni per le loro lunghe ed esili zampe, inoltre mentre i ragni hanno il corpo diviso in due porzioni, capotorace e addome,gli Opilionidi presentano un corpo formato da una massa unica. Hanno poi due soli occhi posti nella parte frontale del cefalotorace, sovente su un peduncolo. Un'altra caratteristica riguarda il fatto che gli Opilioni sono privi di strutture (filiere) capaci di emettere fili di seta, e non posseggono ghiandole velenifere. A differenza dei ragni che si cibano succhiando i liquidi interni delle loro prede gli Opilionidi si nutrono di piccoli insetti, ingerendo anche materiale solido e semisolido e si possono definire in definitiva, degli onnivori.
