#NoID Emmelina monodactyla (Linneaus, 1758) La Emmelina monodactyla è una falena della famiglia delle Pterophoridae con un apertura alare che va dai 18 ai 27 mm ed è una delle più comuni di questa famiglia. Falena bivoltina si riproduce in due generazioni sovrapposte, da fine maggio a settembre; nonostante ciò, gli adulti si possono osservare già nei primi mesi dell'anno fino a novembre inoltrato. Come la maggior parte del Pterophoridae, le ali sono divise in lamine , ma questo particolare può essere molto difficile da vedere, in quanto la falena, quando a riposo, ha le ali strettamente arrotolate. Il colore dell'ala di solito è bruno pallido, ma colorazioni più scure o quasi bianche rientrano nella variabilità della specie. L'addome di colore pallido presenta una di striscia dorsale longitudinale con striature marroni lungo la linea mediana.
