No, it's a dreamy dancer! A life-size sculpture, along with others, populates the tiny hamlet of Chemp, in Val d'Aosta, thanks to the initiative and passion of Angelo "Pino" Bettoni. It 'a beautiful and interesting place, and some works stand out and surprise for the alienating effect due to the contrast with the environment in which they appear.
Dear GattaAgata, a big thank you for your attention and best wishes for the New Year (and great photos)!

Beautiful composition, that leaves a bit perplexed because all you think about the crib, and it could be, but it would be quite unusual and .. I was pleased to read the answer you gave to Agata. Hello, Rodema. ;-)

And 'it looks like a crib ... but after all is not just a mistake: part of the charm is in the crib project ourselves in a certain comforting verses, traditional (the shepherds artisans, the people, the animals ... ), for other magical and alien verses (the angels, the star, the magi ...).
A similar charm you try walking to the traditional stone houses of Chemp and marvel at the magical sculptures hidden among the stone walls of the houses.
Thanks Rodema valuable comments!

You're right, there's a big blackjack ;-) but I wanted the statue to hang out, almost out of place.
Thank you!
