2) Quadruplicazione artificiale del numero di pixel (2x in lunghezza e larghezza) senza usare nessun tipo di interpolazione.
3) Sovrapposizione delle foto con jl programma DeepSkyStacker (non ricordo con che impostazioni e neanche come ho poi esportato l'immagine, mi pare però che erano passaggi che facevano la differenza). In ogni caso a questo punto la mia immagine sembrava priva di colori, il cielo non bello nero, ma la galassia si vedeva piuttosto bene (anche i dettagli).
4) Intensa fase di fotoritocco col programma RawTherapee, in cui ho cercato di estrarre il massimo possibile.

Mi sembra impossibile con un ottica che ingrandisce 2 5x ed una fotocamera da 36 Mpixel senza inseguitore per ridurre lo sfocamento dovuto allo spostanento del soggetto durante la lunga esposizione sia pure con forte crop etc.. ottenere un'immagine come quella che sto commentando che sembra ottenuta con un telescopio di buona qualità anche.
Per inciso anche la nebulosa di Orione mi sembra a maggior ragione non ottenibile con le ottiche menzionate.
