Ti ringrazio per i suggerimenti, ma ho volontariamente ridotto al minimo la profondità di campo. Per gli uccelli di medio-grandi dimensioni uso, di norma, f6.3 o f7.1 per isolarli dallo sfondo. Per quelli di piccola o piccolissima taglia, preferisco f5.6, mettendo a fuoco solo la parte frontale del soggetto. E' una scelta compositiva, ovviamente soggettiva. Osservando il dettaglio del piumaggio vedrai che, pur essendo al limite della combinazione fotografo/stabilizzatore/tempo di scatto, non avrei potuto congelare oltremodo il soggetto.
Concordo con te nell'uso degli ISO per variare focale e/o tempi di scatto, ma stavo fotografando al sole quando e' comparso accanto a me, in ombra parziale, il grazioso soggetto.
