Quella risonanza che mi sta alle spalle, per il radiologo, il neurologo, il chirurgo vertebrale, contiene tutti gli elementi che mi caratterizzano: il me stesso fisico è un di più superfluo a far diagnosi o scegliere una terapia. Non è un processo di riduzione della persona a oggetto, perché con la persona il medico dovrà poi relazionarsi, ma è il liberarsi di sovrastrutture inutili a uno specifico scopo: la diagnosi e la decisione della corretta strategia terapeutica.
