Thank you Ann, yes it's a most attractive spot by the Abbey and also a thoroughfare so you can find yourself inadvertently walking through. I thought at the time that it looked particularly fine with the sun filtering through and that it should appear sometime. It is the people that makes this shot though, I think. I do hope nothing serious is keeping you away and yes, the better weather (wasn't Christmas Day depressing and miserable?!) forecasted hadn't escaped my notice. No transport Boxing Day but Tuesday Des is driving down and we're going to drive a bit around some of the hills and villages in the western side of the South Downs, so obviously looking to seeing him and the photography.
