Per rispondere a Sneg, ho utilizzato semplicemente un flash SB-700 con applicato sopra il suo diffusore a cupola ed una gelatina per flash da 1/2 CTO, il tutto inserito all'interno di un softbox Ezybox da 20x20 cm (che comprende un primo telo diffusore bianco esterno ed un secondo telo diffusore intermedio all'interno). L'utilizzo del softbox insieme al diffusore a cupola del flash è una tecnica che ho visto utilizzare anche dal fotografo Joe McNally, che consente una migliore diffusione della luce all'interno del softbox.
Sul lato opposto del flash ho collocato un pannello riflettente color oro, destinato a schiarire le ombre della parte del volto non illuminata dal flash. Al seguente link puoi vedere il dietro le quinte

Ho scattato in sincro sui tempi veloci (1/4000), con il doppio fine di avere un'apertura a f/1.4 e di oscurare totalmente lo sfondo (non avendo a disposizione un telo nero da porre dietro al soggetto). Per questo la necessità di avvicinare molto il flash al viso del soggetto.
