Questo loxia purtroppo è soggetto ad una malattia chiamata Ttricomoniasi,questa patologia si avverte in prevalenza nei lucherini e in minor modo in altri fringillidi compreso il canarino.Un farmaco a dato degli ottimi risultati salvando tantissimi soggetti negli allevamenti amatoriali,purtroppo in natura è impossibile curare i soggetti ammalati a meno di catturarli ma la legge non lo ammette(giusto che sia così)Il farmaco è il flagyl,farmaco usato per varie infiammazzioni in particolare quelle vaginali.Scusate se sono andato fuori tema ma da allevatore è stato più forte di mè.......A prescindere degli occhi gonfi del crociere la trovo un ottima foto.
