Foto di bassa qualità ma spero di interesse dal punto di vista naturalistico, dato che è già molto raro vedere un tapiro, figurarsi due! I tapiri sono generalmente animali molto timidi ma per fortuna questa coppia era nel periodo di accoppiamento e quindi si curavano poco dei fotografi presenti. Il maschio è quello a destra, mentre la femmina a sinistra. Stavamo rientrando al campo dopo aver fallito la caccia al formichiere gigante (ci eravamo appostati per parecchio tempo) quando dalla strada si vedono questi tapiri che passeggiavano abbastanza tranquillamente alle 7 di sera, quindi molto tardi.
