Dopo tanto tempo che sognavo di fotografare questo soggetto, peraltro mai visto durante le escursioni fatte finora in montagna, ho deciso di partire appositamente per trovarlo. Dopo un ascensione di 1200 m tra cui gli ultimi sprofondando nella neve fino alle ginocchia, non avendo scorto neanche l'ombra di una pernice e con le cosce in fiamme, ho deciso di sedermi su un sasso per mangiare e dare un ultima bella occhiata sulla costa col supertele, prima di cominciare a scendere da dove ero venuto. E' con grandissimo stupore, quando ormai mi ero messo il cuore in pace, che si stagliano nel mirino della reflex quattro macchie bianche sul profilo della costa, a una distanza stimata di 60-70m; da lì comincio l'avvicinamento. Non so che dire, se non che ho avuto veramente una botta di culo a trovarle la prima volta che son partito per cercarle, nonostante le ore di camminata, in quanto se fossero state appena dietro quella costa non sarei qui a raccontarvi questa vicenda perché sarei tornato indietro a mani vuote. Soddisfatto soprattutto per averle trovate con le mie forze senza aver avuto la soffiata di qualcuno che le aveva viste e mi ha indicato dove cercarle.
