La prima uscita con il 100-400 si è conclusa con una sfida: fotografare le rondini in volo radente in un campo incolto. Ho scattato molte raffiche a questi uccelli che passavano a 5-15 metri da me ed questa è l'unica foto che ho tenuto. Devo dire che non è stato facile: sono uccelli velocissimi e, un po' per mia inesperienza nel genere, un po' per la 40D che non riusciva a ad agganciare benissimo, mettere a fuoco è stato un'impresa! Aggiungo che il fuoco non è perfettamente sulla testa, ma cade sulle ali e il crop effettuato ha contribuito ad una perdita di qualità dell'immagine.
