Today I want to take on the shores of beautiful Lake Braies (1496m above sea level) in the province of Bolzano.

Oggi voglio portarvi sulle sponde del meraviglioso Lago di Braies (1496m slm) in provincia di Bolzano.
Dal posteggio (a pagamento come tutti in queste zone) si è già sul sentiero che circonda il lago.
All'ingresso è presente una palafitta dove è possibile affittare delle piccole imbarcazioni per godersi una tranquilla e rilassante escursione marittima?
Proseguendo sulla sinistra lungo il percorso è possibile trovare il deposito delle imbarcazioni.
Da qui si continua a salire fino ad una altitudine massima di 96 metri (dal punto di partenza) lungo un percorso di livello facile, adatto anche alle famiglie.
Arrivati sul punto più alti del percorso percepiamo quanto sono alte le vette intorno a noi, delle quali la più alta, la Croda del Becco (2810m slm) rimane incorniciata solamente dagli alberi e dal cielo.
Lungo il percorso sono presenti vari punti dove è possibile riposarsi ed osservare l'ambiente circostante.
Le acque del lago, limpide e di un colore verde smeraldo donano momenti di freschezza ai nostri animali domestici, che non sono però gli unici animali presenti sui sentieri, è infatti possibile incrociare lungo il proprio percorso mandrie di mucche libere molto socievoli.
Il sentiero rimane ben visibile lungo tutto il percorso intorno al lago, nonostante ciò i visitatori più pratici di sentieri di montagna lasciano traccia del loro passaggio attraverso i tipici "ometti" le classiche montagnole di pietra disposte una sull'altra a segnalare il percorso da tenere (utili sopratutto nei sentieri rocciosi o di ghiaia dove è facile perdere l'orientamento).
La roccia è d'altra parte l'elemento dominante del lago, ed è possibile vederne molte affiorare dall'acqua, nonostante ciò ci sono vari tratti di "spiaggia" dove gli ultimi romantici si fermano e tirano un sospiro di fronte l'incommensurabile maestosità della natura che qui gli si pone davanti gli occhi.
