Prima di descrivere le luci, credo sia utile menzionare la particolarità dalla doccia: è trasparente da entrambi i lati. Dietro il vetro posteriore c'è uno spazio vuoto di circa 1-2 metri (il bagno) che termina con un muro di piastrelle scure. Insomma un ambiente ideale per avere una buona caduta di intensità della luce senza rimbalzi dalle pareti. In ambienti stretti i rimbalzi di luce dalle pareti sono un vero incubo. Bisognerebbe portarsi grandi fogli o teli neri e ricoprire le pareti tipo serial killer, ma ho sempre i minuti contati e non l'ho mai fatto.
Ci sono scatti simili sul web, fatti con docce da camping (senza vetri, aperte) installate a metà stanza (per avere le pareti lontane), ma i vetri hanno il vantaggio di permettere il deposito delle gocce d'acqua che a me piace. Tale vantaggio è anche un problema quando il vapore dell'acqua calda si trasforma in condensa sui vetri freddi e questi si appannano. Per come sono messe le luci, il vetro appannato diventa un muro luminoso e va quindi ripulito molto spesso. E' necessaria la collaborazione della modella che, dall'interno della doccia, deve sospendere l'estasi erotica e trasformarsi in efficiente asciuga-vetri da semaforo (stando pure attenta a non bagnarsi i capelli sotto il getto della doccia).
Compresi gli elementi geometrici e termici della location che influenzano l'illuminazione, le luci hanno uno schema semplice:
1) flash con gel blu controllato via trigger radio posizionato a 45 gradi dietro il vetro posteriore a destra della modella a circa 1,5m. Svolge la funzione di rim light (vedi sotto al mento, fianco destro) e soprattutto illumina le gocce d'acqua facendole diventare blu sullo sfondo scuro.
2) Un softbox con griglia a 45 gradi davanti al vetro anteriore, a circa due metri da terra e inclinato verso il basso (vedi ombra sotto il mento e a sinistra della scapola destra) che funge da luce principale illuminando la pelle della modella. La griglia restinge la larghezza dell'area illuminata, evitando possibili rimbalzi indesiderati dalle pareti.
Avendo tempo sarebbe stato bello aggiungere una terza luce, simmetrica al flash dietro (45 gradi però a sinistra), per avere i bordi blu anche dall'altro lato. Purtroppo nel mio workflow, il set "doccia" arriva per ultimo (perchè rovina l'acconciatura) e dopo diverse ore di posa. A quel punto sono più cotto io della modella e uso schemi semplici e veloci.
