Per il giorno del mio compleanno voglio pubblicare uno scatto al quale sono molto affezionato: molti di voi a primo impatto penseranno che è soltanto un altro scatto della Gullfoss, come ce ne sono già molti altri.. beh, qui quello che rende lo scatto speciale (per me) sono le condizioni climatiche: quella sera ho provato il più forte vento che abbia mai trovato in vita mia, ero l'unica anima viva che aveva osato sfidare quella tempesta di neve, in un posto solitamente dominato da orde di turisti ma che in quel momento stava dando prova della sua vera natura selvaggia. Il treppiede (per farvi capire) volava via senza che io lo forzassi a terra, e un paio di volte durante qualche ventata più forte sono pure cascato per terra dopo aver perso l'equilibrio! Una situazione incredibile, che ricorderò per sempre.
