Foto a carattere documentaristico , non me ne vogliano i puristi dello scatto perfetto. Mentre me ne sto al sole a grattarmi la panza percepisco uno scatto nel cespuglio che mi sta accanto. Incuriosito vado a vedere e trovo questa mantide che ha appena catturato un grillo ed inizia a divorarlo con molto gusto, visto la voracità. Il poveretto agitava le zampette, impotente.. Corro a prendere la macchina, riesco a spostare la mantide su un "posatoio" con maggior contrasto ed inizio a scattare a mano libera, certo non aiutato dalla brezza di mare che muoveva il fogliame.. La natura in tutta la sua bellezza e crudeltà..
