Dopo la galassia di Andromeda la Galassia del Triangolo è la seconda galassia non nana più vicina a noi. ..beh si.. vicina..... si fa per dire ... son sempre 3.000.000 di anni luce (anno più anno meno) è piuttosto piccola rispetto ad Andromeda, ha una struttura a spirale non particolarmente nitido. L'immagine è pensata per una visualizzazione a 1920

Per quanto riguarda i dati di scatto tendenzialmente non li metto perché vorrei che le persone guardassero la foto e non l'attrezzatura o la tecnica con cui viene ripresa (consiglio di saltare questo messaggio MrGreen).

Visto che c'è questa curiosità provo a spiegarvi la ripresa.

Si tratta di una piccola prova, onestamente venuta un po' male a causa di vari problemi che non abbiamo ancora compreso.
Il telescopio è un Newton 24" usato a circa f/4 con correttore di coma.
Il correttore non è adatto al formato FF, ma avevamo quello e quindi lo abbiamo usato ben sapendo che il campo avrebbe avuto una fortissima vignettatura e non sarebbe stato ben spianato ai bordi.
Purtroppo avendo improvvistato tutto non abbiamo avuto modo di creare dei flat frames e questo ha fatto diventare matti poi in fase di elaborazione per riuscire a eliminare in maniera decente i difetti di illuminazione.

Il problema più grave è l'inseguimento che ci ha dato problemi di mosso per tutta la nottata. Dobbiamo ancora capire il perché.. pazienza..
Il tempo di esposizione non è un granchè, circa un ora e mezza, ma per un esperimento va bene
La reflex è una FF Canon non modificata di un amico, infatti le zone HII tendono a essere ciano, ossia del colore dell'Hbeta, invece che rosso (Halpha)

Tutto sommato comunque sono soddisfatto della ripresa, e soprattutto è stata una bella serata in compagnia
