Trentino. Albero monumentale iscritto nell'elenco Trentino e Italiano.

When you see certain living monuments you'll be astounded thinking on their age and how many have views. Nice document optimally imaged with an interesting caption.
I thought you were younger ;-)

A nice document of a centuries-old larch. I point out that in the Val d'Ultimo (near S.Gertrude) there are three larches about who some 2,000 years. One is he has a hollow trunk in which he also manages to fit comfortably

Thanks Pigi47, Francesco, Ardian, Andrew and Nicholas. It Nicholas I saw the two larches of Val d'Ultimo are fantastic, they are on private land, belong to a family that over the generations has jealously looked after them. This however is on public land, therefore more subject (in the past, is now protected as a single plant) to cut.
