Ciao

I like the line of rocks and how did you handle the colors of the sunset. looking for the nit, the horizon seems barrel. you should use the lens correction in PP.

Gp thanks for the visit and the comment, in reality it is a dawn not a sunset, with respect to the line of the horizon I noticed I did not know what would create that distortion, much less correct, then thanks of the info I have not yet this knowledge is novice, with regard to the correction I can get it even with the program canon? thank you ... :-)

ciao

A beautiful composition and beautiful colors make this nice photo.
The correction of geometric distortions can do in Canon DPP or any program for the development of Raw,'ll also notice a slight slope to the left.
I have the impression that the maf is a bit 'too close, it seems to me that there is little clarity in the distance.

Giorgio

beppe thanks, I'll try with the software of canon.
You know I would not justify finding excuses too, no doubt an experienced hand would have made it better than I had available but the maf with the 18-55 kit from is not very manageable or rather I often find myself in trouble when I try manually. then repeat the inexperience c he put his hand'm here to improve reading your suggestions and I'm very glad you stopped ... thanks,
Giorgio

ciao

When shooting with a tripod always use manual maf and live view.
In cases such as this would have to calculate the hyperfocal eye, focheggiando a couple of meters you should have everything in focus af/14.

ciao

In fact, there are strict rules for the calculation dell'iperfocale, if you search on google you will find lots of articles that explain how to do.
In practice, then I would suggest you do some test shots with your wide by stopping af/11-14-16 placing a subject close to the lens trying to get in focus even infinity.
You'll see that focheggiando 1 to 3 meters you'll find the point where everything is in focus. With a little 'practice was not too difficult.

Quoto gli amici. l'idea è buona, così come taglio e cromie.

Quoto friends. the idea is good, as well as cutting and colors.
Some flaw in sharpness and you have to adjust the horizon, correcting the distortion, quite evident
Greetings

Giorgio

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm glad that slowly I can take some pictures "acceptable", I have so much to learn, especially for post production, Horuseye the photo is taken at dawn at the port of Pesaro.
A greeting. Giorgio

bello scatto

nice shot

everything has been said on the horizon and MAF ..

I with 18-55 in manual labor because I really did not want to rotate the grid .....
