Aoto di Azara, aotus azarae: delle specie di scimmie presenti nel Pantanal è certamente la più rara, ho avuto difficoltà anche a trovare su internet il nome ''ufficiale'' di questa scimmia, i brasiliani la chiamano semplicemente ''scimmia della notte'', in inglese si chiama ''azara night monkey'', mentre in italiano ho trovato sia ''aoto di azara'' che ''scimmia gufo. Incontro incredibile ed assolutamente insperato, appena la mia guida l'ha vista non ci poteva credere, non l'aveva mai vista in più di 15 anni di lavoro nel Pantanal, era più emozionato di me. Era una famiglia di tre componenti, incontrata alle 6 di mattina nella foresta di Piuval. Condizioni di scatto, come testimoniato dai settaggi, decisamente assurde ed hanno contribuito a rendere la foto modesta, nella foresta a quell'ora era decisamente buio e le scimmie non restavano mai ferme, quindi azzardare un tempo più lento forse sarebbe stato un errore. La inserisco comunque per la curiosità degli amanti di animali del forum, nonostante sia al limite della capacità mie e della macchina (5000 ISO). Agosto 2016, Brasile, Piuval
