This is the first time I have had an opportunity to photograph these ducks. there are not many of them and they are quite elusive here. I don't see many images of them posted on Juza. The ones I have posted here have not gotten as many responses as I would have expected for their sheer beauty. Do they not hold a high status or value in Italy or Europe? Just curious. Francis, thanks for the insightful comment. Most of these Wood Duck shots were taken at some distance and therefore cropped a good deal. Consequently there is not a lot of fine feather detail. Hopefully I will be able to get closer next time for a better result. Thanks again for getting back to me. Wally
