the composition is beautiful, but the pigeon is a bird that is disgusting impestando of dirt in all the attics, carry diseases, more 'that photograph must exterminate all sti cursed schfosi, forgive my outburst but where I live are flooded by ste bestiaccie

"Figlio mio fatti coraggio,
questa vita è un passaggio,
chi ti ama, chi ti t*fa,
chi arma sempre una baruffa.
Cominciò con Eva e Adamo,
con sorriso e con richiamo,
e giù, giù fin ai tempi nostri,
se fregato e non ti accorgi
che qui, tutto è lo stesso?
e ti fanno sempre fesso!?"

-No, grazie Anto', devo proprio andare via, s'è fatto tardissimo!

-E neanche li rivedrai, credo, guarda lì in quella gabbietta!
-Ma sono loro!
-Certo Anto', quelli sono due PICCIONI VIAGGIATORI!

I know, unfortunately proliferate excessively, I had to put bollards on air conditioners ... in short, a bird that can cause problems, but my grandfather raised them (we're talking 45 years or so ago) and I remember calling them and they politely came out of the aviary, then fell quiet. He even those travelers, highly intelligent. I think that the basis of the various problems there is a lack of control.
Photographer often the pigeons because they remind me of my grandfather that I really wanted a world of good.
Thanks for the very welcome step and good photos.
Mark

And here the story of the pigeons of my grandfather ...

Grandfather Pasquale, chand can be seen in the photograph of 1911, grandfather was a very interesting man and an unusual and original.

He was a war hero, decorated and gold medal for bravery, really ... was twice decorated as Knight of Vittorio Veneto, with a gold medal and another time the horse with a mighty kick the printed star-shaped scar on his forehead!

Literary self-taught, knew by heart the Divine Comedy and never failed to recite and parodiarla in many circumstances:
"The mouth uplifted from his grim meal? Soon as I picked it up without thinking soldarelli I had been."

He collected old books he bought in his many travels and was impromptu poet. I remember the beginning of his famous poetry (in the small town where everyone knew abito):

"THE RIP OFF"
"My son, be brave,
this life is a passage,
who loves you, who do you scam
Who weapon always a fight.
It began with Adam and Eve,
with a smile and recall,
and down, right down to our times,
screwed and if you do not realize
here, everything is the same?
and always make you fool!? "

Grandfather was a lover of music and not infrequently, when there were no MP3 players or compact discs, became charged with a tape recorder "Jealous" in coils weighing several kg, battery powered, perhaps to stay with friends on benches of the central square to listen to music or to record a band concert.
But what was most striking was the humanity and the collegiate nature of my grandfather, who, with his friends, did not disdain to be gay in a time when often there was nothing to smile about. He had seen three wars and fought in two ("Company" Libya and the First World War), had a beautiful family, worked to investigate his sons and for him not to miss anything, so, first to get my license in my country, with a truck "BL 18" was shuttling between the various Italian cities and the oil fields of St. John Assignment, my village in the province of Frosinone and, since he had a driver's license (equivalent at the time to a degree! ) was nicknamed "'o choffeur." He also had a business started and loved animals in an almost obsessive. Understand them and they reciprocated (of what it will speak ò still later).
One day his grandfather went in the country by a friend with a cage containing two pigeons.

-Anto ', I brought two pigeons as a gift.
-Thanks Easter ', do not disturb you had? Come on and drink a bicchieruccio of wine?
The two friends discuss for a while 'time, then grandfather should return to the country.
E-mo 'as I can arricambià for pigeons? Look, Easter, accepts? These two flasks of wine, not offend you?
No, thanks Anto ', I must go away, has been done late!
-Hello Easter, let me see you soon!

The next day while Grandpa is busy in his shop, here comes Antonio breathless, just out of the barber.

Pa-SQUA, but you know what happened!
-What happened?
-I yesterday I put your two birds together with the others, but just open the cage to feed him fled away and did not see them anymore?
-And not even see them again, I think, look there in that cage!
-But it's them!
-Of course Anto ', those are two RACING PIGEONS!
