Massimiliano, penso ti riferisca alla macchia di colore marrone/rossiccio sullo sfondo. Se è così si tratta della vegetazione presente in quest'area che, altre a latifoglie annovera anche alcune formazioni di Parthenocissus quinquefolia (vite americana) che crese in questi luoghi; oppure a qualche tronco rinsecchito presente sui bordi della lanca.
La foto è dell' estate 2015 ed onestamente non ricordo più esattamente di cosa possa trattarsi.
