Domenica 6 luglio 2014, il secondo itinerario di Atts per il Gran Tour è quello intitolato "Il tram bianco e blu di Cinecittà: storia e magie del cinema", un viaggio nella storia del cinema a Torino. Torino è stata a lungo la capitale italiana del cinema, e con il Museo e i suoi festival è tornata una protagonista internazionale. L'ATTS, Associazione Torinese Tram Storici, rende omaggio a questa forma d'arte dedicando al grande schermo un viaggio speciale nei luoghi più significativi. La vettura tranviaria storica utilizzata per questo viaggio è un tram d'eccezione, proprio perché legato a doppio filo alla "settima arte". La vettura 312, bianca e blu, risale al 1935 ed è immediatamente diventata una vedette dell'ATTS; proviene dall'azienda romana Stefer ed è quindi uno dei mezzi non torinesi della collezione dell'ATTS. Fino al 1980 ha collegato la stazione Termini con Cinecittà, trasportando attori, registi e personaggi legati al mondo del cinema; tra questi, Federico Fellini, che era tanto affezionato a queste motrici da renderle protagoniste di un film, "L'intervista" del 1987, in una sorta di "viaggio onirico" sui binari della sua giovinezza, trascorsa in una Roma ancora pre-neorealista. L'itinerario condurrà i partecipanti in un affascinante percorso tra i viali e i monumenti cittadini, toccando alcuni tra i luoghi più significativi della storia cinematografica torinese. A bordo, la storia della "settima arte" si intreccia con le storie dei restauri e dei salvataggi vissuti dai tram storici, spesso così rocamboleschi da poter ispirare un film d'azione! Anche la vettura 312 si è salvata per il rotto della cuffia, rendendosi la protagonista ideale per questo viaggio, ammirata e fotografata a ogni uscita come i più grandi divi sul red carpet! Passato e presente si fondono nei brevi spezzoni proiettati a bordo, tratti da film e collage fotografici che hanno come elemento centrale il tram; tra questi, ambientazioni torinesi ormai irriconoscibili, gli attori più amati del nostro cinema e una "chicca" eccezionale che vede protagonista proprio una vettura identica alla nostra. I Giardini Reali, la cupola della Mole Antonelliana, le luci di uno dei primi cinema di Torino e infine il triste ricordo del cinema Statuto, durissima lezione sulla sicurezza nei luoghi pubblici, saranno il filo conduttore di questo viaggio immaginario. Tra suggestioni del passato e storie del presente, un nuovo punto di vista sulla città da vivere grazie al mezzo di trasporto cittadino ecologico per eccellenza... il tram.
