I'm posting this only because I've never seen so many snails basking in the early autumn sun (on Saturday) on fence posts, EVER! I did get better and more artistic shots of previous fence posts (in about one km, with posts set about 2m apart, each post had at least six snails on them). This was the last one, with more than any other but by this time, I was getting tired of snapping fence posts and I had to catch a bus! I'm posting under 'Wildlife' as the shot is not macro and snails are not Flora. |

Eraldo! Thank you! Mauro - you like snails - your Juza profile shot for a start! And Ann - upwardly mobile, these molusc houses can certainly climb the property ladder! Glad you like my snails, Ann and yes, real, surprising variety. |
