Bald ibis No. 114 sent on September 22, 2016 (14:15) by LucaV72. 7 comments, 704 views. [retina]

at 238mm, 1/1600 f/9.0, ISO 800, hand held. Parco Naturale della Maremma, Italy. Specie: Geronticus eremita

Thank you so much, you can not imagine my surprise when I saw from a distance the two dark spots in the parking lot of the farm. From the beginning I thought, "two pheasants." Then I approached I saw the beaks and I understand :-) I knew that in the past an ibis had already 'visited the farm (it was always White - # 117) but I never expected to run into two copies. Both belong to the project //waldrapp.eu/index.php/it/progetto/obiettivi-del-progetto] Waldrapp and are equipped with GPS (you see a ledge on the back, between the wings ).

Thanks so much. Very unexpected situation. Live are wonderful, especially because 'do not show fear and are natural even while photographers them :-) Unfortunately, given the nasty business of months (4 ibis killed on a flock of 18), I would say that their confidence in the human race and' misplaced :-(
