Purple Heron sent on July 28, 2012 (14:36) by Fonric. 11 comments, 1254 views.

, 1/640 f/8.0, ISO 800, hand held. Oasi di Torrile, Italy. Specie: Ardea purpurea

-0,7 stop. no crop.

Obviously I was joking when I said I keep it or throw it (the first purple heron not throw away even if it was all out of focus). Glad you like it. Thanks

If I may make a fool ........ discipline in which modestly excel ..... I would say that is the first step that I made to "f/640" practically everything in focus from zero to infinity: - D:-D:-D seriously congratulations for the photo, particularly elusive species portrayed in a wonderful way!! ;-)

I'm glad you like the shot, you can see that all the sharpness Paturnie were my whims (but seeing some photos on this site where conteno of all pens .....)
For Mommotti: we know that to get the best from Sigma 120-400 is necessary to close the diaphragm will not tell you the trouble of close af 640 :-| :-|:-D:-D:-D

decided, I would tell you to throw it, it sucks:-D ... you're not the only one who has noticed that closing a lot, being able to, you have better results ... and then to 640 .... congratulations, great picture .... good
