Questa foto, scattata in un paesino dell'Appennino che sicuramente molti conosceranno e che, purtroppo, recentemente è stato colpito da un terribile terremoto ritrae un pastore degli altopiani dei sibillini. Nel mio viaggio estivo per vedere la famosa fioritura del Pian Grande, mi sono soffermato a visitare i vari paesini della zona, ed in un vicolo piuttosto malandato c'era questo vecchio signore che osservava con i suoi occhi imperscrutabili i monti in cui era cresciuto, appena bagnati da una pioggia torrenziale. Se ne stava lì, col suo bastone in mano e mi parlava di come conoscesse la Tuscia viterbese (luogo dal quale vengo) e di come fosse solito "transumare" in quella zona quando era un giovane per scappare dai rigori dell'inverno. Sebbene pensi che un periodo di assenza umana non farebbe altro che bene agli ecosistemi Italiani penso anche che ormai siamo radicati così a fondo con la storia e l'ambiente che ci circonda che in alcuni casi sarebbe un crimine stesso eradicare questi popoli e questa cultura contadina. Prego perché con questa foto alla prossima stagione possiate aiutare alla gente sprovveduta di questi paesini-macerie a ricostruire le loro case grazie ai proventi del turismo; un piccolo aiuto per gente che ha già sofferto molto.
