Macro early experiments! Help me........ sent on September 19, 2016 (15:11) by Stefano79. 6 comments, 378 views. [retina]

at 135mm, 1 sec f/20.0, ISO 400, tripod.

Well ... close up lenses are not the best for sharpness, but if you just start to discover the difficulties of macro is good. First of all I would use the manual focus to go to focus where you want it, then I would try to use shorter exposure times, especially if you are a beginner with shutter speeds so long to have the rough because of the wind it is very easy

Thanks for your suggestions!!
To the fire I used the manual zoom on the display, as far as I moved put in place well protected after trying to take over again and see the shake-that I was ruining the final result!

I do not know the optic; Usually the zooms are better at intermediate focal lengths, so I would hypothetically make macro at the focal point of 90-120. Outside this one f 20 I think it is exaggerated, better to be between f11-13, snap to 100 iso, if time extends a lot does not matter, the leaf and the drop will not run away. Take a snapshot or use the self-timer to avoid the micro-motion. Try it, hello gandy

Then, with regard to close-up lenses, if you do not remember badly, you lose a bit of clarity, if you want to experience it overnight, use tubes or bellows, even without any automatisms, if you have a lens that allows the aperture and closure of the diaphragm Manually, more tubes put you, and less the maf distance between the subject and the lens, if you can also help with flash or reflective panels to try to stay as low as possible with the iso, quo Gandy and Riccardo 100%
You may find that you like too much gender and you will take your first macro lens;)

The recommendations have been corrected, so just patiently follow them, just remember that if tomorrow you use pipes these will lead you to a loss of brightness. There is no doubt that close-up lenses will never give a result of sharpness like a macro while improving their performance on good quality ones such as canons, but at this point it is better to buy a macro lens given their cost.
