Le scimmie urlatrici sono tra le più grandi scimmie del Sudamerica e certamente le più grandi di tutto il Pantanal. Non sono molto rare, si avvistano con relativa facilità ma è molto più difficile scattare loro foto decenti: stanno quasi sempre su rami molto alti, spesso nascoste, con tanti rami a coprire la visuale ed il colore scuro del volto non aiuta quando sono rivolte al sole. Questa è una femmina, mentre il maschio è più grande ed è di colore molto più scuro su tutto il corpo. Agosto 2016, Pantanal, zona Piuval
