Tapir swimming sent on September 15, 2016 (15:54) by Francesco_lear. 9 comments, 1412 views. [retina]

con Canon EF 1.4x III, 1/1250 f/9.0, ISO 3200, hand held. Pantanal, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Specie: Tapirus terrestris

Agosto 2016, Pantanal, Rio Claro

Wonderful captures. Congratulations, as you tried to multiply the 100-400 II?

@editore Thanks, about the multiplier, excluding the obvious "counter", ie to be alone with the central point and have a minimum f / 8 aperture did not notice nell'autofocus slowdowns and sharpness declines were much reduced, visible in my opinion only PP. Consider that when we went out in the hours of greater light it often kept attached if the subjects were especially birds.

@Marco Thank you, we with the tapirs we were lucky, we saw them in many situations, but we were unlucky with other subjects that interested me a lot. You know better than I do that in a safari is so, it is very hard to see everything :) thank you so much the passage!
