Hi Stefano! Thanks for the comments.
You know you do not remember! The other, the one made with 10-20, was taken with tripod ... probably this.
Best wishes.

Man, I was looking at some of your shots, especially these beautiful crawling animals that human ignorance has always had, and often continues today, to haunt... just some fantastic work with really remarkable (and very remarkable) subjects!!!
At the end of the month I have the opportunity to take a trip to Thailand, I would be interested to understand this in what area you took it... I will be a guest of an organized trip but I should have at least a day of absolute freedom and I would like to come across something creeping to be admired (and maybe immortalize)... I'll be on Pattaya's side, if you have any imbecile to give me I'd be extremely grateful!
Still congratulations on this, and all your other photos!!! Very remarkable!!! Andrew

Hi Andrea.
First Thank you for the compliments and also for your comment about "sliding" animals.
I have only been to Thailand once and do not have a thorough knowledge of the country.
This rather widespread pit viper was photographed in Khao Sok. I don't know what you can find around Pattaya (apart from so much mona, but this is another kind of "hunt"). A place relatively close to Pattaya that is definitely worth a visit is Khao Yai, perhaps Thailand's best-known national park. The problem with national parks is that you can't go around at night without a guide, even though I did (and I got a few reproach!). If you have any other questions please contact me as well. Mark
