Invece per le femmine di giaguaro la situazione è ben diversa, sono molto più piccole dei maschi e sono ben lontane dalle dimensioni anche di una leonessa. Per completare, anche del famoso giaguaro ''guercio'' si dice che sia di dimensioni abbastanza simili a quelle di un leone (sempre riferendosi ad una leonessa), ma io purtroppo non sono riuscito a vederlo :)
