Sul promontorio roccioso sovrastante Pont Saint Martin appaiono le rovine del Castello Vecchio. Da qui si ha un'ottima veduta delle cime Bec Renon (2266 metri), Bec delle Strie (2544 metri), Mont Glacier (3186 metri) e Mont Dela (3139 metri). La parte più antica della costruzione è la primitiva cinta muraria esagonale, con porta al livello del suolo: essa conteneva un probabile "donjon", ora scomparso, e potrebbe risalire all'XI secolo. Entrando nel castello da una porta a tutto sesto protetta da feritoie si può vedere a sinistra un corpo abitativo risalente al XIII-XIV secolo, con grandi finestre a crociera. Nei diversi vani si possono riconoscere resti di camini monumentali, tra cui quello della cucina, la cui volta ora crollata presentava un'apertura centrale. A lato della dimora signorile, nel cortile, si trova una cisterna dall'intonaco rosato, pressoché intatta. A est un altro corpo di edifici distrutti conserva la prigione in cui, secondo la leggenda, venne lasciato morire il cugino di Caterina di Perloz rapita da Guglielmo di Bard e rinchiusa nella torre d'angolo.
