at 14mm, 0.4 sec f/7.1, ISO 100, tripod. Antelope Canyon, United States.

I would say that your thinking you have developed perfectly !!! The change in brightness between inside and outside of the canyon is impressive, as well as the games between light and shadow. Out of curiosity, have you visited the upper or lower?
Many compliments, hello ;-)
Stephen

Ste hello and thank you as always for the appreciation ;-)
I visited both the upper that lower in two days to try to find the best possible lighting conditions and especially of people (when it is full almost can not even stand still stand).

Usually I don't like burnt parts, but here, as you explained in the caption, the eye overexposed with light is functional to the image and to what you wanted to achieve. I also offer you my congratulations for the beautiful composition, among the best I have seen of this canyon. ;-)
Hello, Alberto.
