Uno sterrato, di mattina, scorgo uno sciacallo ed essendo il primo di questo viaggio mi fermo a fargli qualche scatto ma poco più in la cè qualcosa che lo interessa e decisamente anche me: una mamma ghepardo si è appena procurata la colazione per se e i suoi piccoli. Ho mancato di poco la cattura perchè la femmina sembra ancora nella fase in cui riprende fiato dopo la caccia ed era accovacciata silenziosa poco lontano dalla preda. Trascorro con loro circa due ore prima che lascino ciò che ne resta ai successivi nella catena alimentare.
