A nice photo of effect, light well-managed.

Thanks Litewolf!
Found this picture I made directly from the camera and then moved on in LR to add a little 'saturation and noise reduction, because camera raw (go figure why!) Makes me all my pictures darker than that I appear on the display.
This is a photo taken a few minutes before and processed with PS:

Shooting data are the same, even in this time is 1/640, but the image is much darker.
It 's like camera raw and my NEF files are not fully compatible.
Has anyone else had the same problem?

Personally, I like a lot more the second version, the first I see too saturated to the point of making it almost unreal, the second mentr Well ... Congratulations is really very beautiful, congratulations!

Thanks Maxfuji! ;-)
Mumu, believe me, the spectacle of the sunset last night was much closer to the first version of the photo not the second.
I was literally ecstatic!
Thanks for the ride and appreciation ;-)

I like the composition
Saturation and 'unnatural dare much notice from gray clouds that would reflect their color and create a mirror as in the original
The rocks in the foreground are too dark contrasting

PS rivedrei also bright yellow and purple clouds are colors that if there were really together it would create other
But here you can see the creations of these species for light and condition

In my opinion, a middle way between the first and the second photo would be the ultimate ... Indeed, the first is of great impact (Wow Effect) but too unnatural.

Hello and congratulations!

Claudio ;-)

The first is too unnatural for me and I see something stran even in rocks in pp

Thanks Integrate your analysis, I really like your photos and then follow with particular attention to your recommendations.
I agree that I walked a bit 'too hands with saturation now that I look at the photos from another monitor (the one on my laptop did not seem so vivid colors :-|), but, as I said above, the sunset had of colors and reflections so bright lake nearest to the second version that I posted in the message.
When you write
The saturation and 'unnatural dare much notice from the gray clouds that would reflect their color and create a mirror as in the original
I do not understand the history of the gray clouds are seen reflected on water : close to the body Cloudy larger stones, and at various points in the orange zone.
For the purple, you're right, last night from my monitor seemed to me only a darker area of ??the other.
Processing in general is not great, because I did it directly from the camera, for the reasons explained in my first reply message. In fact, since I see you're really good at drawing, you would not know you tell me why camera raw makes me darker all my NEF files? Wow!
Hello and thanks for the passage :-)

why camera raw (go figure why!) Makes me all my pictures darker than what I appear on the display

Could it be that you are using an on-camera picture control which tends to lighten the image.

However Camer Raw serves to balance the picture, I see the shadows closed in the second, I think you have not worked with "Fill Light" and I do not amount in CS mode neutral, but the first rule at least balance White - Exhibition - Recovery - Fill Light - Blacks and, if necessary, Clarity and Saturation.
Some prefer to import from Camera Raw settings with completely neutral, I prefer to use at least the controls on the main page.

No particular setting on camera, amount in camera raw with everything set to neutral.
Even when they amount to LR, the preview I see it as clear as in the display, as soon as I open the photo, it darkens instantly wow!
I tried to check if there was any setting busted LR, but you're all set ...
