Il Trittico che sovrasta l'altare posto nel presbiterio è opera di Giorgio Artz, pittore e scultore bolzanino, che lo scolpì nel 1517. Comprende uno scrigno diviso in edicole da un intaglio che disegnava tre archi carenati e da due colonnine che segnavano lo spazio per ciascuna statua, abitato nella zona medio-alta, da due statuine dei santi. La statua della Madonna che calpesta la falce della Luna e tiene in braccio il Bambino è al centro, affiancata, alla sua destra, da Santa Giuliana, una giovinetta aggraziata, intenta alla lettura di un libro e che conduce alla catena un piccolo demonio ribelle ed alla sua sinistra da Santa Margherita che benedice mentre, ai suoi piedi, si dimena il drago che la lunga lancia impugnata dalla Santa ha appena trafitto. Le portelle del trittico si dividono in quattro riquadri, incorniciati da un bel motivo a racemi, ciascuno dei quali contiene, in bassorilievo, le figure di due Santi: a sinistra i Santi Erasmo e Vito, Caterina e Lucia ed a destra i Santi Stefano e Vincenzo, Agnese ed Orsola. Sulla cimasa del trittico, fra pinnacoli e racemi leggeri, le statue di Cristo Redentore, al centro, con alla sua destra quella della Madonna Addolorata ed alla sua sinistra quella di San Giovanni. See live this triptych is another matter entirely!
