Gli gnu non sono tra gli animali più eleganti della savana ma sono estremamente interessanti e capaci di prestazioni fisiche di tutto rispetto: se sentono l' acqua nell' aria sono in grado di percorrere svariate decine di km in un giorno e di fare balzi prodigiosi!! Questo gnu, incontrato nella Ngorongoro Comservation Areain un momento in cui la siccità la faceva da padrona, assieme al suo branco stava correndo forsennatamente in direzione delle piogge cadute il giorno stesso a 30/40 km di distanza e che promettevano erba verde nei giorni successivi...
