1/100 f/2.8, ISO 100, tripod. Pietra Parcellara, Italy.

Intezione I also do photo but I wanted to entertain me in the water and in the end I was too tired.

PS but the lords of the pictures are photographed against the light?

Yes, at that time shooting with the sunset framing the sun in the picture (typically done by two shots to merge to expand the dynamic range).

:-) Never used it is easier to combine the two exposures in PS (and the results are better).

Easier and faster for sure, my best results dipende.Dei for sure:-D but I've seen pictures taken using filters (plus combined) truly remarkable.
Then I think it's a matter of taste, I really like using filters, and study me personally I love the shot on the spot

Walter I lee GND filters and against the light, at least in the most difficult conditions and with wide angle lenses, the risk is that the dust with the diffraction become very visible and annoying on the surface of the filter
But when you can clean them pretty well give considerable satisfaction.
I personally prefer the old fashioned way using the photograph pp. only for small final adjustments.
