Sulla cima di Rocca Perduca , nelle vicinanze di Rocca Parcellara ci sono due vasche di raccolta acque piovane chiamate " i letti dei santi " I due bacini colmi d'acqua ospitano una colonia di tritoni crestati, anfibi molto delicati e sensibili all'ecosistema: per sopravvivere, hanno bisogno di acqua pura e limpida, con acidità pari a zero. Eppure sembrano a loro agio in queste vasche stagnanti. Ma non è l'unica stranezza: la gente del posto assicura che lì dentro l'acqua non evapora mai, neanche durante le estati più torride, e non ghiaccia mai, neppure negli inverni più rigidi.
