credo di parlare a nome di tutti i genovesi dicendo che il primo pensiero è per chi ha lasciato la vita sotto quel maledetto ponte...ora non è il momento di aprire polemiche, ma insomma, quelle vite si potevano salvare, o costruendo prima un altro ponte o chiudendolo se chi di dovere sapeva dei pericoli...
il secondo pensiero, meno ovvio, e forse meno facile da capire per chi non è di Genova è che quel ponte era per noi un simbolo, una specie di Tour Eiffel...al rientro dalle ferie vederlo era un po' sentire di essere di nuovo a casa, ala partenza percorrerlo era un rito per lasciare alle spalle la vita di ogni giorno...e proprio ogni giorno si passava spesso ( io sono di Voltri ) per andare al lavoro o semplicemente per ...andare a Genova, così diciamo ancora noi per dire che andiamo in centro.
e per ultimo un senso di miracolo, di gratitudine al cielo ( certo inconsciamente cinico ) visto che lo avrò percorso un milione di volte....nessuno della mia famiglia, della cerchia di parenti e amici più stretti è rimasto li sotto, ma anche la consapevolezza che poteva succedere a me...perché no....e allora anche per ultimo l'impegno che tanti ci sentiamo, a essere un po' migliori per questo tempo che ci è stato regalato.....
