L'interno della chiesa, a unica navata voltata a botte, che pioggia sul robusto cornicione sorretto da semipilastri, è illuminato da ampie finestre rettangolari e a mezzaluna, ed è decorato con un affresco della Nascita di Cristo di Johann Baptist Oberkofler (1938). Il coro poligonale è affrescato nella volta a botte con la scena dell'Incoronazione di Maria, santi e la rappresentazione simbolica della guerra, opera in stile liberty del 1914. L'altare maggiore a colonne e frontone rotondo, del 1842, accoglie la pala di Johanne Georg Witwer con l'Assunzione, tra le sculture dei SS. Pietro e Paolo dell'artista Franz Xaver Renn. Dei due altari laterali, entrambi a colonne, del 1800 circa, quello di sinistra porta la pala con la rappresentazione della morte di San Giuseppe, siglata dal pittore Martin Knoller e datata 1782. La pala del lato meridionale rappresenta S. Giacomo, del '600.
