Mi pare di vedere che avesse a che fare con una predazione.
Nonostante la luce difficile l'hai gestita bene.
Hai solo avuto sfortuna a non averla potuta inquadrare col capo un pò più scoperto!

Si era tardo pomeriggio...E il bilanciamento del bianco mi ha fatto un po' impazzire! Se avesse tenuto l'ala sx 1 cm più in basso sarebbe stata una posa perfetta! Purtroppo i 3,5 fps della mia 500d mi permettono questo :)

un ottima cattura, e siccome questa come hai sottolineato è penalizzata dall'ala che copre l'occhio, hai un ottimo motivo per ritentare. soggetto, ambientazione e posatoio davvero al top
