Che altro aggiungere rimango sempre stupefatto di fronte a tali meraviglie e non ti nascondo, con una piccola dose di "invidia".
Sana invidia eh  - Non so cosa mi succederebbe portarmi dietro, per questo sito, un super-super-grandangolo o magari anche un fisheye uscirebbe roba, da dar fuori di testa

Sicuramente ti divertiresti molto.. quello te lo posso assicurare!
Io sono andato a fine agosto - inizio settembre con l'"onesto" (ed economico) 18-105 nikon, senza cavalletto e qualcosa sono riuscito a fare..quindi mi posso immaginare (e ogni tanto ci ripenso) cosa si possa ottenere con delle ottiche adeguate e "di categoria"!
l'unica cosa è che, nel più famoso Upper se vai nell'orario e nel periodo sbagliato, dovrai combattere con orde di persone vocianti che tolgono un pò di fascino all'ambiente!

I went to the end of August - beginning of September with the '"honest" (and cheap) 18-105 nikon, without a tripod and something I could do .. so I can imagine (and sometimes I think about it) what can be achieved with optics and appropriate "class"! :-D
the only thing is that, in the most famous Upper if you go at the time and at the wrong time, you will have to fight with hordes of people shouting that take a bit of charm to the environment!

Ma non sono limitate come numero di persone, le "entrate" al sito? Certo che così, anzi che puoi piazzarci un tripod le "orde" ti guarderebbero in cagnesco e farebbero tabula rasa dell'attrezzatura
Vabbè, che farci, è il prezzo che troppe volte si paga in luoghi così belli e famosi.--
Questa foto è davvero intrigante per quella "cascatella" di luce che scende, morbida, quasi fosse "luce solida".

But they are limited in number of people, the "revenue" to the site? Of course I like that, because you can piazzarci a tripod ;-) the "hordes" would look askance at you and would do a clean sweep of the equipment:-D:-D:-D

E' quello che pensavo anche io.. invece quando siamo arrivati all'entrata del canyon, dopo un breve ma accidentatissimo tratto su pick-up adattato al trasporto persone, ho scoperto che oltre al nostro di pick-up, ve ne erano un'altra decina!
Per scattare le foto dei raggi di luce (non questi però) mi sono dovuto accucciare sotto un treppiede di un gruppo che era lì per un tour fotografico del canyon, più costoso di quello "normale".. e ti assicuro che ero dispiaciuto per loro!!
Per fortuna la mattina l'avevo trascorsa alla sezione inferiore (il Lower).. lì si che le visite sono limitate ed oltretutto hai un percorso "solo andata" che ti permette di scendere sempre più all'interno del canyon (che, se percorso tutto, ti porterebbe al Lake Powell)..consigliatissimo!!!
That 's what I thought too .. however, when we arrived at the entrance of the canyon, but after a short stretch of accidentatissimo pick-up adapted to transport people, I discovered that in addition to our pick-up, there were a dozen! :-(
Take pictures of the light rays (not this one though) I had to crouch under a tripod of a group that was there for a photo tour of the canyon, more expensive than "normal" .. and I assure you that I was sorry for them! :-)
Luckily I had spent the morning in the lower section (the Lower) .. there is that visits are limited and moreover have a path "one way" that allows you to move deeper into the canyon (which, if covered everything, I would at Lake Powell) .. highly recommended! :-D E' quello che pensavo anche io.. invece quando siamo arrivati all'entrata del canyon, dopo un breve ma accidentatissimo tratto su pick-up adattato al trasporto persone, ho scoperto che oltre al nostro di pick-up, ve ne erano un'altra decina!
