foto eseguita nell'arcipelago di Raja Ampat, Irian Jaia, Papua Nuova Guinea Indonesiana nel novembre 2008. La particolarità della foto sta nel fatto che gli alcionari sono attaccati alle radici delle mangrovie e vivono in pochi centimetri d'acqua, cosa del tutto eccezionale in quanto normalmente questi coralli vivono a profondità notevolmente superiori. La ripresa è stata fatta sdraiandosi sul fondo che in quel punto è mezzo metro sotto le radici fino a scivolare carponi sotto alle stesse. Tutta la macchina era quindi sommersa anche se la parte superiore sembra presa fuori dall'acqua.
