at 220mm, 1/800 f/9.0, ISO 800, hand held. New Forest National Park, United Kingdom.

Fine drizzle all this morning - the New Forest took on a misty autumnal feel, a change of plan and location, due to the weather, meant I did not have the lenses I would normally have taken with me. #Pattern

Really lovely, Tim! Beautiful individual little jewels of loveliness and a perfect background to show them at their best!

I would have been shocked and most surprised had you not liked it, Ann! I would even had eaten (the one that I was not wearing whilst it was drizzling!) my hat!

I don't understand the second line?

I had originally planned to use the new (to me) angle finder to get low down and dirty amongst some poppies, probably not where you had recommended as no buses go anywhere near there until 10 a.m and after the Stonehenge marathon I was not willing to walk miles (which of course, I ended up doing on the Forest anyway, partly as I had (obviously!) not taken the correct map! I did get some nice macros with the Sig 105mm of big droplets on foxglove 'gloves' which I hope to post up soon.

Weather likely to be iffy here for a while yet - though rain wasn't actually forecast for here at all for today!

Haha! Now that would have been an entertaining sight!

I had the opposite experience yesterday when I went to a butterfly park with no macro lens - it's back in England but will be coming with me next time! I'll probably still post an image or two though.

There's always something that gets left behind, however far one travels, Ann!
