Arrivare in questo posto non è stato affatto semplice (per me almeno); nel mio precedente soggiorno in Islanda del 2014, ho provato a cercare la strada per ben tre volte, ma l'ho trovata solo l'ultima e purtroppo era accessibile solo ai 4x4 quindi cancellai la location dal viaggio. In questo viaggio ero deciso a ritornarci, e con le coordinate precise dell'aereo mi avventuro sulla spiaggia nera di primo mattino: purtroppo a causa della neve fresca le tracce di auto erano a malapena visibili e finisco per seguirne due che mi portano da tutt'altra parte, sperso nella spiaggia. Per fortuna avevo linea sul cellulare e decido di puntare la macchina nella direzione dell'aeroplano e non muoverla di lì; ho dovuto aggirare alcune dune, ma per il resto ha funzionato! Sono riuscito ad arrivare all'aeroplano, e devo dire che valeva veramente la pena visitare questo luogo, si respira un'aria di un altro mondo! Aggiungo come piccolo postulato che ho appena aperto il calendario con le date dei miei tour nel nord per la stagione 2018/2019 sul mio sito, quindi per coloro interessati a seguirmi in questi posti (ci sono partenze per Lofoten, Islanda e Lapponia) si faccia un giro sul mio sito www.leonardopapera.com .
