Dull, dreary, drizzly early this morning, so decided on a still life of just leaves on plants in the park. Ansel Adams made several such studies, purely to achieve tonal excellence. I also was wanting to try the sharpness of one of the finest full-frame Nikon lenses ever made but on my even sharper D7100 (over the low pass filtered D7000) but on DX. Everything was very green, so tonal variations were limited, so only a limited amount of contrast was possible, or else the highlights would just burn out. So, not the most exciting of subjects but one probably worth posting. |

Plenty of variety in light and texture - I agree that it is well worth posting! |
